Kitt Davis

Hi folks! I am currently working in Career Development at Hult International Business School, where I am expanding my skills in the dynamic field of higher education. Originally from Oceanside, CA, I spent my early years belting out show tunes and dreaming of my first Broadway bow.

After completing my Bachelor's degree at UCLA in 2020, I embarked on a two-year journey as a Teach for America Corps Member in Chelsea, MA, teaching high school chemistry and engineering. While I cherished my experience in education, I realized that a lifelong career in teaching wasn't the right fit for me. Transitioning into post-secondary education has allowed me to engage closely with students, understand their unique stories, and help them discover their identities and potential.

As an openly out trans person in the workplace, I take immense pride in sharing my journey with colleagues and students, raising awareness of trans rights and issues. I bring a vibrant and colourful energy to every room I enter. In the future, I aspire to pursue a doctorate in anthropology or gender studies, further exploring my passions in STEM, education, queer liberation, queer linguistics, and mental health.
